The Mice Are Running

Here is a poem for today called “The Mice Are Running”. Can you spot alliteration, internal rhyme, end rhyme, and iambic tetrameter?
The snake slithered after mice, through trees,
The mice shot off, the snake had sneezed,
The chase was on, mice gone, snake slid,
Catching up again, snake caught, mice hid.
